This digital hand dynamometer features precision electronic load cells to eliminate the possibility of oil leakage that sometimes occurs with hydraulic units. The unit allows measurement from 0 to 200 lbs. The unit calculates the average, standard deviation, and coefficient of variation and clearly displays results in pounds or kilograms. Up to 5 tests can be conducted with each hand without reset.

Easy to Assess Hand Grip

Setting up for testing is simple with the Jamar Smart Digital Hand Dynamometer! Just power on your device and choose between six tests: standard test single hand, standard test left hand, standard test right hand, standard test left and right hand, rapid exchange grip test 1.5 seconds intervals, or rapid exchange grip test 3 seconds intervals. After choosing the number of trials, pass the dynamometer to your patient and press the “test” key to start the selected test.

JAMAR Hydraulic Pinch Gaugge

The Jamar Hydraulic Pinch Gauge is an easy-to-use evaluation tool for measuring finger strength and pinching capabilities. Pinch the silver tab to get an instant PSI reading on the gauge needle. The pinch gauge freezes at maximum force for easier reading.

Pinch force is measured on a dual scale in pounds and kilograms (45 lbs. or 22.5 kg. maximum reading). The instrument was designed to be held by a therapist, so that the weight of the pinch gauge is not supported by the client being tested.

The Jamar Pinch Gauge measures force in pounds and kilograms, and is used for isometric tip, key, and palmar pinch strength evaluation. The red pointer stays at the highest achieved force after the tool has been squeezed to measure maximum pinch capabilities. Measuring hand strength capability is important when determining the progress made.

The Jamar Digital Pinch Gauge has an easy-to-read LCD display and features an electronic zero calibration system. The push-button console includes a button to zero the last reading stored in memory and two toggle buttons used to accurately store up to 99 readings.
